About ATWIC: Functional Structure

Program Manager
Kathy Stefani

What the Program Manager does:

  • Coordinates the efforts of the Accessible Transportation Task (ATTF), which are aimed at understanding and helping to resolve access-to-jobs-and-services issues for low income individuals and people with disabilities.
  • Functions as an SPC representative in discussions convened at the city, county, and regional levels regarding transit, paratransit, and alternative transportation.
  • Works as a Transportation Planner on mobility improvement projects for residents in the southwestern Pennsylvania region. 

Oversight Committee (OC)

James Hassinger, Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission
Lynn Manion, Airport Corridor Transportation Association
Stefani Pashman, Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board

What the Oversight Committee does:

  • Functions as ATWIC’s Board of Directors.
  • Provides general direction and guidance to ATWIC’s Program Manager.

Accessible Transportation Task Force (ATTF)
Comprised of approximately 50 representatives from the human services, workforce development, and transportation sectors.

What the Accessible Transportation Task Force does:

  • Identifies transportation access barriers.
  • Formulates promising solutions to alleviate barriers.
  • Advances cross-agency coordination.
