Travel Instruction Program
Train educators to embed functional life skills such as independent travel for people with disabilities into the academic curriculum.  Develop goals of self-sufficiency and independence in the Individualized Education Plans of students with special needs.  Provide independent travel skills training to high school students who will be transitioning into adult society by teaching them how to use public transit for post-secondary education and/or employment.

ACCESS Connections
Provide a low-cost, transportation option for people with disabilities who are capable of using Port Authority’s fixed route system, but do not have easy access to its pick-up and drop-off points.  Offer a single point of contact to call for assistance in transit trip planning that includes information critical to people with disabilities including stop amenities, landmarks, and environmental and architectural barriers.
