Dj joined the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission in the spring of 2023. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Policy, Dj monitors local, state, and federal policies and proposed legislation that could potentially impact our organization’s work and ensures appropriate action is taken. He oversees a team of five staff members that specialize in grants, environmental resources, freight and broadband. Dj maintains our organization’s outreach and partnerships with external stakeholders. Additionally, he represents our organization with government officials and helps them advocate for the region’s transportation, infrastructure, and economic development needs. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Communication from Penn State University.
