Greg joined the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission in 2022. As a Transportation Planner III, he conducts financial analysis and spreadsheet modeling to support our organization’s work on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The TIP plans for transportation projects on a four year cycle, and the LRTP plans for transportation projects on a 25 year cycle. As part of this work, Greg also works with data from  PennDOT on the region’s long-term transportation asset management needs for the LRTP. He also monitors political, economic, policy trends, and events pertaining to federal and state highway funding and construction inflation. Additionally, Greg conducts periodic assessments of our 10 county region’s operations according to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) performance metrics (PM2) for asset management under the agency’s planning and programming framework.
