Joey joined the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission in 2024. As a Public Relations Specialist, Joey assists in the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives including media relations, public outreach, and social media management. In addition, he works to enhance the public’s awareness of the organization, ensures consistent messaging, and provides support for public events and meetings. With a foundation in politics and public affairs, he has accumulated years of experience on the campaign trail and working for a public relations firm headquartered in Pittsburgh. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication Studies from West Virginia University.
